Missed most of the game unfortunately. With that said, just saw some highlights.....WOW!!! Indeed much to be encouraged by scoring 48 points but good grief you guys are right, Special Teams was terrible and that is being nice. Coached HS football for 12 years and coached some really good teams, coached some really bad teams and IΓÇÖm certain, even on that level, we were never that poor. My jaw dropped seeing the kickoff coverage team. Nowhere to go but up I guess.
Never underestimate the advantage of playing at home. There are 6 AAC teams unbeaten at home, including 4 in our division. Let's just hope we can defend Ford and maybe find a way to win in Annapolis, which is not something we do.
The game was the game and it can be analyzed til the cows come home. For me, it has been an incredible ride and I feel so proud of these guys fighting to the very end. This team has represented our University so well, so today, I am disappointed, but far from upset. PonyUp! We got some work ahead and a great finish potentially.

You would think but for some reason we wont even try to get them. Just the weirdest thing. I'm shocked though that Dykes didnt in the 2nd half tell him to kick it out of bounds henceforth.
Kicking a football and a soccer ball are 2 entirely different things. That's like saying a track teams needs a high jumper, so go get a basketball player. Soccer players, even bench players, wouldn't want to leave a team gearing up for an NCAA run.

Yep if soccer doesnt work then hell just try anyone out. Or seeing how effective our punting has been, let's let Shane try it out.
