Get someone from the soccer team to just drive the ball to the end zone on kick offs. CanΓÇÖt have the opposing teams start from midfield almost every single time. ItΓÇÖs not just the terrible kicker. Too many bone-headed mistakes with unnecessary late hits too but if the ball is driven to the end zone then less of a problem.

totally agree soccermom....a lot of SMU teams in the past would have quit.

by not quitting we sent a message to the world

i thought it said a lot when the Memphis coach went for it on 4th later in the game when they were up......HE KNEW!

IMO....that wasn't cockiness....that dude was scared...and we still almost came all the way back.

we're ok except for our special teams...maybe in the off-season Sonny can get a real special teams coach and some transfer kickers/punters

It's not the norm for kickers & punters to be heavily recruited and have a lot of scholarship offers but it sure would be worth a 'ship if Sonny & Co could find a good one for next year. You just don't see many kids coming right out of H.S. being labeled "can't miss" prospects. Can't remember the last time we talked about a kicker in the recruiting roundup
