I remember when bye would have been favored over SMU
As much fun as this year has been, could start talking about how this team is going to replace the 24 seniors on next year's roster, with so many of those seniors being key contributors (and at least a dozen of those guys were Chad's recruits so I still have to give him a little credit).

Could talk about what a great job the frosh Charles Cannon did with kickoffs Saturday. Not the strongest leg, but he's just a frosh and got enough loft that most kicks were fair caught and he consistently kicked to his target. What a difference a week can make.

I can't believe it. A bye week and we still found something to put us into a PANIC.
Hope we have a good by w week with extra time to prepare for the option, time to get some players healthy, and time to absorb and enjoy a solid ranking.
Thoughts on the CFB rankings to come out Tuesday? No real point in looking at AP and Coaches. I would assume every G5 team moves up 1 and K-St falls out and Texas replaces them somewhere.

Tulane > Temple Navy > ND Iowa State > Texas Hou > Memphis OU > Baylor TCU > Texas Tech
I think Tulane and Temple are bit of a push. We murdered Temple and I believe they still have slightly better SoS than Tulane has. I say it's a push either way. Navy of course! Iowa St would be great and they have the ability. I want Memphis to lose but it would better for all parties if their 2nd loss comes at the hands of Cincy. OU agreed and they should be able to finally put smokey down. Yes as painful it is, especially for LA Mustang, we should always root for TCU when we beat them.

In particular, I'm hoping for Navy over Notre Dame and for Oklahoma to absolutely demolish Baylor.
As much as I'd prefer Memphis to lose to Cincinnati (and obviously consider it more likely), right now I'll take anything that puts us back in control.

Maybe one or two of these guys get redshirts? But key seniors include:
Proche Xavier Ke’Mon CJ Sanders Ryan Becker Galliard Patrick Nelson McBryde Armani Johnson Demerick Gary Rodney Clemens Delonte Scott Pono Davis Richard Moore (medical) Sackville (medical?) Kevin Robledo
Yes, best scenario for AAC and SMU: Navy beats ND and Army. SMU beats Navy and Tulane. Cincinnati wins out and meets SMU in Championship game. SMU beats UC and goes to Cotton Bowl. A boy can dream can't he?
