No Penalties against Tulane

Post by GeorgiaMustang »

I think having no penalties today was huge. We werenΓÇÖt our sharpest but we won. Had we suffered some untimely penalties this could have really hurt us. Congrats to the team for their discipline and for doing what needed to be done to win. Huge shoutout to defense and special teams!
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.

No "official" penalties, but Proche did get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after reacting to the tulane DB trying to rip his helmet off after the play, so the penalties offset.

Refs were definitely letting them play yesterday.

Tulane had only 5 penalties which was very low for them (had been averaging 9+ per game)
