What a fun game at Westcott. We were outplayed most of the game but Eddie ended it. I feel bad for UCF because the NCAA screwed us both with the seedings. UCF is really good. Sad that two teams that good met in the third round. We will beat Virginia.

That's the beautiful thing about soccer ... and if you're on the losing end, the awful thing about soccer. It's like a baseball pitcher who throws a one-hitter and that one hit happens to be the deciding home run. SMU survived the UCF onslaught in the first half, but things seemed pretty equal in the second half.

What a great doubleheader for SMU football and soccer.
