Well that is great. I thought you were from the Pony Express era from your post. Arkpony was there with Dandy Don also. I love his stories from those days.

Dandy Don's GF (and eventually wife) was Lynn Meriweather. My sometime GF knew her and we actually "double dated" once with them. A very nice, funny, humble guy.

Dandy Don had a great sense of humor as he demonstrated on Monday Night Football with Howard Cosell. He was in a speech class I took and he was very comfortable in front of the class.

Thanks for posting those great articles . I've been a mustang fan for 60+ years and my fondest
memory was the "Miracle on Mockingbird". I remember that game like it was yesterday, and get
chill bumps when I watch a replay or read an article about that game or the "89 team . That season
changed my whole outlook on college football......winning became secondary to effort and sportsmanship.
