Another record for Emmanuel Sanders

Until James Proch├⌐ came along, Sanders had just about every SMU receiving record.

Now, according to some guy on the radio this morning, the former SMU star, thanks to his trade from Denver to San Francisco, is the first player in NFL history to catch at least one pass in 17 regular-season games in a single season.

What is this in reference to?

At the beginning of the San Francisco - Seattle game on Sunday when each player introduced himself and what school he went to.

I'm sure this has been hacked over previously . Whatever his beef is why would I guess tiki played a part.

ES has made millions the Mustangs were his showcase and launch pad . Guess he'll never get over it . You can't hide from it player just showing his true colors

Did he do it consistently or even more than once?

It is not uncommon at all for players to give a shout out to their home town in those.

Not a big deal. He has already explained that he likes to give his hometown a shot out so kids know they can make it out of there and do anything. He still says SMU too. He's got nothing against the school, and has never said anything bad about us publicly. Let's save the torches for someone/something else.

A couple of months ago he praised
SMU ΓÇÿs football team on Scott Van Pelt’s show on ESPN and even put his pony ears up and said PonyUp.

I agree. I happened to know a couple of NFL players several years ago that went to my hometown high school. On a few occasions, they announce themselves as being from our city or having gone to our high school. We all felt a tremendous amount of pride When it would happen.
