2021 quarterback announces at the All-American Bowl that he's headed to SMU, making the announcement before his senior season. He'll join his brother at SMU and "has been a Mustang all his life."

Incredible. Stone has FORTY THREE (43) offers including Alabama, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, Penn St, USC, etc., etc., etc. Arguably the highest-rated commitment in program history. Says he has been a Mustang since before he could walk. What a day for SMU football.

Already has some pretty talented WRs on the roster and some highly rated WRs coming in as well. Need to continue building the OL and RB stable.

Still a huge get considering all the mustangs we lost throughout the years to bigger offers thanks to 30 years in the desert.

Interesting on 24/7 Stone was 58 when he committed, now dropped to 93. Drops almost everytime a new ranking comes out. Was 18 last June. I wonder what's going on with his evaluation...
