Football Videos and DVDs of SMU..

Post by WorldStang »

Had a few minutes at work today and just can't wait til the season. Started surfin a bit to find some old SMU games on DVD or Video.. and found a good site..

http://www.footballvideos.com/SMU%20GAMES%20ON%20VIDEO.htm

Looks like they've even got the old Rose Bowl game between Stanford and the Stangs. Personally.. would love to watch the 1980 and 1982 SMU/Texas games. I was at both as a kid.. they're my 2 favorite teams. Will never forget watching SMU come down to Austin and winning those 2 years.

Anyway.. thought I'd share a site I found. Might grab a DVD from this site.. kinda pricey.. but hell, can't find it anywhere else.

That is real pricey for something that violates federal copyright laws.

Oops.. I ripped the tag off my bed and pillow too. Don't tell on me..

If you (or anyone) buys any, let me know. What can they possibly have from the 30s-60's? Coach's film? Newsreal footage?

Does the athletic department have that kind of stuff? That would be fun to show sometime.

Man and I thought getting those two poorly edited, grainy footage, high school quality DVD's of the 2005 upsets for $40 was a ripoff...

I still want a copy of the 2005 UTEP game...That is one I could watch over and over...We showed a lot of skill and put up big numbers...I have the TCU game, but the game is not as crisp as the UTEP game...Does anyone have the UTEP game on DVD???
