SMU was also #25 in the DMN's "Way Too Early Preseason Top 25 poll" with Cincy (an Eastern Division Team) being the only other ranked AAC team. So, looks like the early prognosticators at the DMN feel SMU should win the West this year.

Need to make sure we beat them Toads again and it could be another special season.

Actually there is no "West" next year, but we have the schedule to be well ranked if we win 10+ of them.
