Didn't sign on early signing day? Don't want him.

He wasn't committed before early signing day.

I have to agree with HCSD on his position that if you are committed to a program before the early signing period, then you should sign during the early signing period. If you aren't going to sign during the early signing period, then you should not commit. If you want to keep your recruitment options open, then don't commit.

He didn't take that same stance with TJ McDaniel...

I'm going to cut him some slack on the early signing day since 247 says he wasn't offered until Jan. 10. He committed on his official visit

Very different situation. The kids who waited in the last class were committed and not going anywhere. They just wanted to sign the same time as their high school teammates.

He's going to sign with navy and have 1600 career yards against SMU.

TJ McDaniel stated he wanted to sign on national signing day, not the early period. Also, TJ's spot was still open long after the early signing period. What recruits need to keep in mind is: If you want to commit early then you should sign early, especially if you are a high 2 star or a 3 star. If you do not sign at your first opportunity, there is no guarantee a spot will still be open at a later date. I do not blame a coach for taking a higher rated recruit that comes along later over a recruit who just "said" they are committed.
