And bringing this entire team back plus at least McNeill. With this bunch being able to play together for 2 or more seasons, I would expect them to be very competitive the next couple of years.
ΓÇ£With no recruits committed for 2020 and top assistant Mike Miller lobbying hard for head coaching jobs behind the scenes, there are reasons to be skeptical about the future.ΓÇ¥
(From a Yahoo Sports column)
ΓÇ£Hello Mike?...... this is David calling......ΓÇ¥
I think Jank is gonna have to have a few more bad losses like tonight and ECU to get canned, unfortunately. His inflated record and wins over UH and Memphis have him safe for now, I think. I would love to be wrong tho.

Never really adjusted offensively to Tulane's match up zone which doesn't bode well for Tulsa on Saturday. Give Tulane credit for stifling our guys defensively and getting hot in that 2nd half...every prayer they threw up went in or so it seemed. Even got benefit of some calls...the play where Bandoumel trucked their PG catapulting him down the lane where the delayed foul call was made after he threw up a shot as he was falling down...gave them a 3 point play vs taking the ball out on the side. Just one of those nights at the most inopportune time!

Unfortunately? That would actually, literally be the best thing that could happen to this program long term. If Jank is back next season, weΓÇÖre just delaying the inevitable rebuild for another year.
Question: if you polled them, is there another fanbase in the AAC that would trade their basketball coach for Jank? USF maybe?
