Spend 3-4 minutes scrolling through the game by game stats of our players. By and large, they built their stats in the first 12 games of the year........

friarwolf wrote:JB, why would they get better? Players don't improve under our "players coach". They don't have to because he isn't going to do anything to them. He can't even pull the trigger on Memphis Doug. He should have been run off after his freshman year yet he continues to occupy a spot. Chaggy????? Feron doesn't even start anymore in his second season and his numbers are basically the same as last year and built largely on the non-conf part of the schedule. Mike? His stats have dropped like a rock after the cupcake non-conf schedule. I would say it is even money Davis and Jolly level off next year as there is no one going to push them. I just don't see the reason for optimism if the idiot returns.............
Absolutely correct ! Prime example of "players coach" is Charlie Strong ... nice guy , players loved
him , good recruiter, but could not develop players or win enough games to keep his job.

Wonder if Miller was at the game today to witness the collapse. Can he not see how bad this coach really is? It will be interesting to see if he has had enough or prefers to inflict more pain on the remaining few bball fans.

Announcer having to exhort the crowd to chant SMU was a new low for me. A packed Mob with the Lobster and ear splitting cheers seem like a distant memory. Those were the days my friend, I thought they’d never end....

Plus they ran off the majority of crazed fans a while back save the crazed WS women sitting behind me screaming that bought her seats on stub for $2. Yeah I want my money back LOL.

Pretty obvious now, the team has quit on him.

I don’t see quit, I see lack of coaching and discipline:

Are you watching the same game I am? That final 4 seconds pretty much summed up the 1st half "effort"

That would be my concern. If he has lost the players then there is a real problem.ALEX LIFESON wrote:Pretty obvious now, the team has quit on him.

It’s over for Jank....the team knows it and so does he.....the team is phoning it in because at this point they don’t even see an NIT bid as probable.....

I'm not convinced it's that bad. Let's see how they come out in the 2nd half. No question there was a hangover effect from the WSU meltdown, but there is just too much talent (and hopefully character) for these guys to mail it in just yet.
