Just checked out The U of Miami, a key competitor to SMU:

I also checked the remote Bowdoin College site and both use YouVisit which has affiliated tour guide(s) "show" you around. SMU has fabulous buildings and its virtual tour has nice click-throughs. Some commentary or more pop up text would be a good enhancement.
