Re: Now, From TT grad
Where are you getting your figures that ICUs are overrun? Texas is at 74%, slightly above normal. The highest state in the U.S. is Rhode Island, which is at 83% capacity. The overwhelming number of states are at normal levels. https://www.covidexitstrategy.org/ And average seasonal flu deaths are 6,500 in Texas. We're at 3,192 COVID-19 deaths as of EOD yesterday. https://covidtracking.com/data/state/texas#historical
Re: Now, From TT gradPonyboy - Not fair using real numbers. The more testing that is done lowers the death rate. Thanks for the truth.

Yeah yeah we've seen this before.. Refrigerated truck need in Texas is bunch of BS.... Texas has over 29 Million people and has less than 3500 total COVID deaths ![]() ![]() C-ya @ Milos!
Re: Now, From TT grad
Got any objective data?
Re: Now, From TT grad
I don't doubt that the national and state capacity still exists, but on a local (county) level their capacity may have been overrun. It is not unique to the USA. People in many countries throughout the world including Brazil, Italy, and Ecuador have not been cremated in a timely matter due to COVID-19. Thankfully, most of the world has not had this issue, but when a community gets hit hard its not easy to deal with. For me, the biggest issue with this virus is our lack of capacity. If we had more hospital ICUs, more ventilators, and more morgues I wouldn't be nearly as concerned. I simply wouldn't want to be one of those people that needs a hand and is told to wait in the event of an emergency or worse, death.
So you can spin it to your convenience? ![]()
Re: Now, From TT gradSo I can think for myself.
Re: Now, From TT gradAgain Ponyboy. Stop using your brain.. Just follow.

Re: Now, From TT gradI remember visiting Chicago during a heat wave and they were overloaded with dead bodies expiring from the heat, then to make matters worse the air conditioning broke. Overheated dead bodies is not a good thing.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

![]() The choice is not "you perish or you're fine" when getting this disease. Re: Texas has only 3500 dead from COVID And the US has 135K dead in months vs the flu which takes out less than that in a bad year. Recall that not dying doesn't mean you're safe like with the flu either. Leader of the Band-itos.
