The transfer OL from Auburn apparently got his immediate eligibility. He was in uniform on the sideline Saturday.

Sonny Dykes said after the game that he was pleased with Osborne, who started at right guard, but would have to watch the video to get more specifics. He then said feels SMU has three guys — Osborne, Danielson Ike and Demetri Jordan — who he feels can play the position.

Ike played much better, but it is clear that Osborne is going to really help us out in the running game when he gets healthy. It seemed like they just about split time, but Osborne really manhandles his blocking assignments a couple of times, which was great to see. Haven't seen that in a while.
