We are still in the RV category and in effect fell three slots with the inclusion of the Pac12 and Big10 teams. We're now two ahead of Baylor.

UCF, Cincinnati, and Memphis still ranked.

Ridiculous. Combining pre-season poll with mid-season team performances is impossible. But, lots of teams with way more talent than us.

We're # 28 in the USA Today poll, with Memphis at #24.

Have to think that if we win on Saturday and a few key losses that we are ranked next week.

As we sit here 3-0 it's a bit hurtful that we are ranked behind several teams who have not yet played a game. And before you reply, and say those teams are more talented than we are, that's fine, but these are weekly (interim) polls and they should simply include a disclaimer that they have chosen to not rank teams that are 0-0.

I agree. If we beat a ranked team and are 4-0 we will be ranked. aggie is going to get a beat down and drop out of the polls and we'll take Memphis' spot. If Virginia beats Clemson and BC beats NC they would jump us but don't think that is likely to happen.

Boston College is terrible... They will not beat North Carolina.

If the Mustangs beat Memphis, they will be ranked in both AP & Coaches next week.

I think dropping only 3 spots after 26 P5 teams are added to the mix is pretty amazing.

Yeah, with that going on -- and with our decisive win -- I figured we'd remain steady this week or drop a couple of slots. We dropped three, so about what was expected. Win this week and we're almost certain in, as others have pointed out above

I mean, Duke is really turrible but BC beat Duke much more easily at Duke than Notre Dame beat Duke at Notre Dame. Any given Saturday...
