Hopefully the game will be played. I can certainly see the Bearkats being in no hurry to get "well," and can see them wanting to duck a tough road matchup when they are so highly ranked.

What is the protocol? Is there actual proof and governance involved or does the league just take their word for it if they say they have too many positive tests/players in quarantine to travel to Dallas this week.

It will all depend who shows up. Will both teams come out with basically cincy defense against our offense. If so, I think it will be:

31-28 SMU

If both sides of the ball show up then its going to be even bigger nail biter.

42-41 SMU with us making the final drive to win it.

I genuinely feel confident about this one - they haven't played in weeks and we have had a chance to work out some of the kinks and adjust to the lost of RR and TJM. We will desperately need run production but I can see our D giving them fits IF they play to their potential.
