MBB v Houston Game Thread
The only rotation Douglas should be is the permanent bench rotation.
A long tradition of existence.

Tend to agree. Memphis Doug might spot a few minutes in case of foul trouble, but from what I've seen, Smith IV should rotate at the 2/3 before Douglas.geezerdonk wrote:The only rotation Douglas should be is the permanent bench rotation.

I like Smith and what he brings, but have you two seen all the games this year? We've seen some good stuff out of Douglas, to everyone's great surprise.

Yes, but against inferior competition, Smith looks much more athletic with a much higher ceiling.ponyboy wrote:I like Smith and what he brings, but have you two seen all the games this year? We've seen some good stuff out of Douglas, to everyone's great surprise.

It was maybe the faithful 700 there tonight, with 100 being Houston fans. The Houston bench got loud during the second half. When we got it back to 4 points from 12, the crowd helped a little.
Good catch

Smith has a phenomenal shot. And great upside. More athletic. No question about it.
Douglas plays much better defense. He is perfectly fine as the 9th player in a 9 man rotation who gets 5-8 minutes per game.
Of course, if Jolly comes back, it is all moot.
