Re: FIRE JANKOVICH NOW
I was wondering when this thread would pop back around and I'm glad it has. We need a new coach. We've need him for awhile but better late than never. A loss at home to a 3-6 rival is in excusable.

When we did have good ball movement and guys (especially Chargois last night) had open looks they missed shots and weren't even close at times. Plenty of forced shots and just plain ugly basketball. Really makes you miss those very disciplined and unselfish Larry Brown teams that worked so hard to find the best shot they could on each possession

Re: FIRE JANKOVICH NOW
Just imagine where this team would be without Kendric Davis and think about how ugly next year could be without him & Feron, who both considered leaving this year and with Chaggy & Jasey having exhausted their eligibility. I would imagine TCU would then love to resume our series and nobody will fear coming into Moody

aw shucks, relax. nothing is going to happen this year. just get used to seeing trash bball. our mental hernia of an AD will probably give tank-o-vid a new contract at the end of this season. those who care can't make the change and those that can don't care.

Very sad to see Davis waste his career at SMU. Hope he sees the light and transfers to a real college with a real sports program with a real basketball team with a real coach.
A long tradition of existence.

Yes but it was a good thing he came to SMU since TCU's coaching staff had failed to recognize his talent and gave him just half the minutes that Jank has.

The reason he left TCU was grades. He wasn't fond of going to class.

To be fair, that 9 wins during Coach Brown's suspension and that 1st 30-5 season with Brown's roster are a big part of his success. Much tougher going of late.

Yeah this needs to be adjusted for Browns team as well as all the cupcakes on the schedule every year. I bet if we look at conference record adjusted out the first year, it's not pretty.

If you exclude the 9 wins while Coach Brown was suspended and the 17-1 conference finish that 1st year with Larry's team, Jank has gone 6-12, 6-12 (while short handed because of probation), 9-9 last year and 3-2 so far this year. Less than stellar but it remains to be seen if this team can regroup and finish this season strong.
Re: FIRE JANKOVICH NOW
He's an average AAC coach. In order to get back to the type of season we want, we probably need an above average/elite AAC coach.
