I like what we have on offense next year but it remains to be seen if they can put together a defense that will compete for an AAC Championship
Assuming Sonny stays... pretty vulnerable as alot of those could bolt with him to Tennessee.

We just got a graduate transfer kicker from Washington State.

A Lou Groza FINALIST graduate transfer kicker from Washington State. FYI, Naggar was a semifinalist.

Our horrible loss to Memphis on national TV due to kicking, or lack thereof, caught Dykes attention.
Long live Inez Perez!

Very nice pickup! If we can correct our yearly November swoon this team has the talent to contend for a conference championship. Until this team proves that it can win in November, I will stick to my 6-6 prediction.

With the OU QB transfer already on campus and watching film, I’m feeling pretty good about next year.

It would be nice to play defense too. Hopefully Sonny stays and we get a DC who can coach who we got and also get some high quality recruits.

This thread is all over the place. From Sonny hasn't done anything in 4 years. (Which it is only 3) to I hope Sonny doesn't leave. I've only been a fan since I got to campus in '92 but this is by far the most exciting 3 years. And I think these teams are better than any June had except that first Bowl team. And I won't even mention Chad's mediocre over hyped Pony Up Tempo tourist helicopter ride.

I just have to chuckle at all of the panic about some person, months before the season begins, months before rosters are set, making an out of the air prediction and many taking it as gospel.

Classic: “Chad’s mediocre over hyped Pony Up Tempo tourist helicopter ride.” That about sums it up! I can see the sign on an old overgrown air strip somewhere.

Mrydel... Miss seeing you at the games. Well, I guess that goes for everyone now days.
I remember buying the first Cornerstone package way back in the late 80's. My boss and I went to lunch and he drove by Moody. He said lets get out and walk. He went to ticket booth and bought 4 seats in the soon to be renovated Ownby Stadium. He turned around and gave them to me and said... Here is a little bonus for you. The guy was a Purdue Grad.
Over the years we have learned who the fans are. Wish there were more and with what S. Dykes is doing, there are more.
We have better players, and we are starting to get some depth. I think we can both see that. The lagging part of this development is the D. With a transfer or two and a new DC, you never know.
Hope you are healthy and hope to see you for at least a game next year. The group has changed but the Boulevard is still the best pre-game event I know of. Hugs and if you see the judge and Nikki give them a hug too. God's Peace G
