It has been stated clearly for years that the site is not a place for political commentary, and posts, threads and posters have been removed over it. Such comments invariably spark others that devolve into name-calling and insults, as this thread did last night, when the original comment sparked a slew of follow-up posts that got personal. I considered deleting the whole thread but didn't because that could be deemed overreaction.
Leave the politics to other sites, and this is a non-issue. Thank you.

I avoid political commentary on this board. However, when the athletic department wants to push an agenda, people will react and some may do so on this board given how divided our nation is at this time. We all are here for one reason, we are passionate about the Mustangs. Let's celebrate what unites us. That said, it would be nice if the Ponies' hoops team dressed again this season.
