It's not like they didn't offer him. Just had no interest in SMU as I recall
Your second sentence is completely untrue.

Your second sentence is completely untrue. SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: Incoming!
Should not have said NO interest. Just going by what I read on 247 that he had "little" interest. May well have been because Jank didn't show him the love he needed.
Re: Incoming!Looks like we added two more nice pieces in Marcus and Michael Weathers. They will be 6th year seniors so some valuable experience. Marcus was second team all-Atlantic 10 and Michael was first team all-SWAC this past season.

Re: Incoming!
Still hoping to hear Jank can land a banger at PF to replace Chargois but you are right that these guys appear to have developed over their years at D-I. Chemistry is going to be a real challenge in college basketball next year with so many guys moving around.
Re: Incoming! It's nice to see the John Cooper hire is paying dividends in recruiting this offseason as Marcus and Michael were freshmen at Miami (Ohio) his last season as head coach in 2016-17. They both transferred out once he was relieved of his duties. Now we need some front court help and if successful this will be a more talented roster than the last two seasons. Will we be able to add the missing pieces and put it all together?
Re: Incoming!I’m liking the incoming talent.
Re: Incoming!I'd like to see a couple of bigs, too, but the transfers look impressive spo far. Keep 'em coming.
Re: Incoming!So...
PG - KD - all -AAC? SG - Nutall - will be on some all-AAC team SF - Band - solid player PF - Weathers - should be all-AAC second team C - Yor? IF KD and Yor come back, that is a decent starting team. But even if they all come back, I would like to see us add a 5 that is a rotational starter between him and Yor. I like the energy Yor brings off the bench, but I think his rebounding and lack of physicality are not great in the starting lineup.
Re: Incoming! You don’t think Jasey is a sufficient complement for Anei?
Re: Incoming!
Our depth chart if we have no more outgoing transfers. I really think we need more front court depth. We should see plenty of 3 guard lineups as that is what we have to spare. PG Davis/Phelps/Smith SG Nutall/Weathers/Bandoumel/McBride SF Weathers PF Young C Anei/Jasey

Re: Incoming!Potential addition to the roster. He is close to Coach Duncan and would be a huge get as he is a player and in a position of need.

Re: Incoming!
I like that. I think Nutall will be huge for us. KD and Zach will carve ‘em up for sure.
Re: Incoming!
That would be an awesome get. Jasey and Young aren't starters. Weathers doesn't shoot well enough from 3 at the 3, but isn't big enough for a 4. From his numbers though, he has to be a good athlete. You can play him or Band at the 3. Miller and Weathers can play the 4. Then you have Yor/Jasey/Young at the 5. Two deep at both guard positions. It would be a very solid team. Small, but surely at that point we are really pressing a lot.
Re: Incoming!I'm starting to get excited about the roster! I really hope KD comes back and we manage to land Emanuel Miller.
