Excellent production and historical info. Does an African American history class really have just one Black student in it, taught by a white professor? I wouldn’t want all professors in an AA Studies major to be Black but would expect the majority to be. With RGT and Provost Loboa in charge, I believe diversity at SMU will increase. I’ve seen that diversity has increased quite a bit over the last two years.

During the Q & A after the film, one of the creators said it was directly based upon a student's experience from 4-5 years ago. One would presume/hope that it was an isolated incident.
