A little surprised by how many stud WRs are being offered. Do Stewart and/or Wilson actually have any interest in SMU or is this just a matter of making sure you offer top local kids? I suppose our 2 highly regarded QBs just can't have too many targets and maybe Mom & Dad would like these guys to stay home in play in front of family and friends.

That's my sole concern about Dykes. His rosters at Cal were too WR heavy and I worried about that happening at SMU. Extra walk-on WRs are fine, but if scholarship WRs become the biggest position group, that could have other implications.

Nah, that was a June Jones area concern -- 50 slot receivers and no offensive linemen. May not be perfect, but it looks to my (admittedly unprofessional) eye that this roster is much more balanced than it has been.
