No offense to Siggers, but their top 2 RBs looked pretty solid this weekend. Can see why he transferred.

They have two RBs that look better than this? If so, I am kind of worried now...

Watch him run over Denbow in his second 40+ yard run in the highlight package from last time they played at SMU.

I already made my prediction but looking at their stats vs ours gives me confidence that this should be an easy win:

Defense items:
3rd down efficiency: NW St. 10-16, UNT 8-14
4th down efficiency: NW St. 1-2, UNT 0-0

NWST: 418 yards, 157 passing and 261 rushing. Focusing on rushing, NWST on average 5.3 yards per carry. NWST also had 3 fumbles which looked unforced but not 100%.

What this suggests is our run offense should have a field day. I think our passing offense is far superior to NWST so a balance approach should annihilate their defense.

UNT offense
They had 527 yards, 182 passing and 345 rushing yards.
-- I think we will have a strong game play over their rush attack. UNT QB threw 2 interceptions.


SMU had no turnovers. 501 yards for a higher score (more efficient). Defense more importantly only gave 332 yards up when they were on the field alot. They got 3 interceptions. They shut down any run game to 119 yards and kept their offense off with only them coverting 5 3rd downs out of 16 times.

Truth alert: KNTU was the name of the radio station at UNT (corrected). Covid-19 came from a lab in Wuhan China. Gary Patterson sweats a lot. SMU will hammer UNT this Saturday.
