The article isn't exactly the full story. The Devise described isn't some radical new something or other. It's an electrical stimulator to promote healing which has been around for decades.

The FDA approves devises such as this based on a 510(k) approval. A 510(k) is a premarket submission made to FDA to demonstrate that the device to be marketed is as safe and effective, that is, substantially equivalent, to a legally marketed device (section 513(i)(1)(A) FD&C Act). Specifically, submitters must compare their device to one or more similar legally marketed devices and make and support their substantial equivalence claims. A legally marketed device is a device that was legally marketed prior to May 28, 1976, (preamendments device). And there were plenty of electrical stimulators avail be for promoting bone healing prior to 1976.

Electrical stimulators of bone healing have been around for decades. They have been used to promote healing in non-union fractures, spinal fusions and other skeletal injuries.

There are studies about the effectiveness of these devises. A small meta analysis of the effectiveness of electrical stimulators reference is provide for your research but is my no means close to the volumes of published data. recommend you look at more than one study to draw any conclusions.

But in this case it impacts others. Being okay with people not getting the vaccine is the equivalent of allowing people to drink drive and just assuming they are only going to hurt themselves and nobody else on the road.

Or perhaps they aren't stupid. Perhaps they realize the following:
1) Natural immunity offers 10 times the protection as vaccines, and also offers better protection against variants. Reducing access to anything due to vaccination status is silly if you aren't taking natural immunity into consideration.
2) These specific vaccines have been shown to greatly reduce effectiveness over time. Leading some to question why being vaccinated is that big a deal when those vaccinated in Jan are now down below 50% effective - also...
3) The vaccinated are still getting and spreading covid. No doubt it helps handle symptoms but being vaccinated is no guarantee of anything - as we see daily with increased breakout cases. There is currently a surge of cases in New England - the capital of the vaccinated.
4) If you arent aged and/or underlying conditions this disease is not very deadly. 99.5% survival rate - probably higher since that includes the earlier days when exposure was greater among the at risk. This is the primary difference between covid and small pox.
5) Protein spike vaccines have been studied for a long time - but not used broadly until now. There is no way to know their long term effect until we get long term experience.
6) Dallas county hospital beds occupied by Covid related are down to under 15%. Death rate per 1,000 is at an all time low.

If i was older, or had underlying issues i'd take it. Easily worth the risk. But requiring others to inject themselves is unamerican, particularly based on the above. Those that are reluctant to take Covid vaccines are not stupid or selfish - they just asses the risk differently. Stop trying to shame them or condescend - that is what is stupid.

A study out of Harvard shows while breakthrough infections with Delta have similar peak viral loads (Ct) to that of unvaccinated individuals, viral loads decrease faster in vaccinated individuals AND they are contagious for a SHORTER period of time, and harbor less virus overall.

Researchers then measured the duration of viral proliferation and clearance and the peak viral concentration separately for individuals infected with Alpha (B.1.1.7), Delta (B.1.617.2) and non-variants of interest/variants of concern (non-VOI/VOC), and for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. What they found was that mean viral trajectories of Alpha and Delta infections resembled those of non-VOI/VOC infections. Vaccine breakthrough infections exhibited similar proliferation dynamics as infections in unvaccinated individuals (mean peak Ct: 20.5, vs. 20.7, and mean proliferation time 3.2 days vs. 3.5 days; HOWEVER vaccinated individuals exhibited faster clearance (mean clearance time: 5.5 days vs. 7.5 days. REMEMBER: Ct values/concentrations ARE NOT a measure of INFECTIOUSNESS. In other words, vaccinated individuals ARE NOT as likely to spread the coronavirus as unvaccinated individuals.

So, let’s talk about that because there is a lot of misinformation circulating recently. ΓÇ£Vaccinated people are just as likely to spread the coronavirus. This misunderstanding, born out of confusing statements from public-health authorities and misleading media headlines, is a shame. It is resulting in unnecessary fear among vaccinated people, all the while undermining the public’s understanding of the importance-and effectiveness-of getting vaccinated. So let me make one thing clear: Vaccinated people are NOT as likely to spread the coronavirus as the unvaccinated. What risk are you taking?

- regardless of condition, you are much less likely to catch the virus or be a carrier if vaccinated than not vaccinated.
- regardless of condition, you are much less likely to be hospitalized if indeed you do get sick if you are vaccinated than not vaccinated.
- regardless of condition, you are much less likely to get long covid if you are vaccinated than if you are not vaccinated.
- regardless of condition, you are much less likely to die if you are vaccinated than if you are not vaccinated.

There is literally no risk matrix that would advise you to not get vaccinated unless you have an auto-immune disease.

I agree with you that if we were in an ideal world, all people would be tested before they are allowed to go indoors. But we don't have that mechanism set up. Next most effective thing is to check vaccination status, so that is why it is being done.

For arguments sake, let's say you are 100% correct. Then using that logic, why have over 1 million, unvetted illegals, been allowed into America, without the vaccine requirement...per Press Secretary Jen Psaki. They are then bussed, and flown to a neighborhood near you...at taxpayer expense.
