Not surprised they wanted to move on from Patterson as head coach. He's embarrassed himself and the school too many times in recent years and his melt down after SMU won in Ft Worth for the 2nd time in 3 years was epic. TCU has become a very mediocre football program once again. We'll see if they make a run at Sonny to try and rebuild the program. They are certainly in a position to offer more than SMU in terms of both pay and conference standing and Ft Worth is a bit of a hybrid Dallas/Lubbock
