Attendance Numbers Solution?

Like a lot of alums, I'm out of state. Wouldn't mind buying season tickets to help out attendance numbers but I personally would never use them. Would this work? I buy 4 season tickets and donate them to 4 students. The students enter the stadium on their student ID, then leave the stadium and re-enter using my four season tickets. The students then can then sit in my seats or elsewhere. Would this increase the attendance number by 4? Or does the mere purchase of season tickets count towards attendance?

Any chance you could pre-buy four bottles of beer and a serving or two from one of the barbecue places to go with the tickets? I think that might enhance the possibility of good results.

Actually, I wasn't just thinking of boosting attendance by my 4 season tickets. I was thinking of all the out of state frat and sorority alums. All you would need is a facilitator for each house.

Do the students have to pay to attend? I donΓÇÖt think we have any problems getting them in. Student attendance has been very good. Maybe do the same for young local alumni.

With more students living on campus and the team winning at Ford, student attendance appears to have improved but our numbers will always be low because of the relatively small undergraduate population. Key is getting local alumni, families & friends more involved and if SMU can get back to what the program was in the early 80's, Dallas area college football fans might be attracted

Students get in free to football games. Essentially they've paid for the tickets through annual student fees of $7K+.

Why not donate them to a local school where one of our local players went?
