Frustrating. Memphis waited all day and gave us chance after chance. Just frustrating.

Riley last name doesn't automatically grant you genius powers. There's so much to digest. Giving up 15 yards to receivers so they catch 9-11 yard routes like you're playing in the back yard.
Worst offensive performance of the year.
When our special teams is the best performing group we have serious issues.

SMU lost to a team playing its 2nd string QB, a freshman, and a team that had to go for it on 4th and long because it had no punter. I applaud the die hard SMU fans but I'm not one of them. No more sports for me. Good luck going forward. Mods, feel free to delete my account.

This team is very much like the teams JJ had and was criticized for, i.e., they beat teams with losing records and are pretty good at home but struggle against good teams and really struggle to win road games against good teams. Memphis is not a bad team and beat Mississippi State at home. Their only home loss was to UTSA and the Roadrunners might be a lot better than SMU. Maybe we will play them in a bowl game this year to find out?

Good riddance. Team, schools need fans and supporters who don't turn tail at losses.

Ouch. My son is playing soccer so last night I thought it would be a good idea to show him the SMU/Memphis soccer game on ESPN+. It was a brutal 1-4 loss by the Ponies at home. And then today in football. Ugh. Bottom line, Memphis just killed us this weekend.
