Re: UCF game threadTD!!! RBs starting to look better (when they run forward).
Re: UCF game threadUCF calling basketball defense TO.
Re: UCF game threadWe just can't run the ball between the tackles. Mordecai has done a pretty good job reading blitzes. Have to wonder whether Preston would have the same awareness. Going to be difficult making a change with the game so close because this is a game SMU really needs to win
Re: UCF game threadKeep pouring it on. UCF offense is weak. We've gifted them their scores today
Re: UCF game threadSharp blade between the ribs.
Re: UCF game threadStretch this lead before halftime and Preston could open up the 2nd half to see if he can hold the lead or even expand
Re: UCF game threadTanner spotted UCF 2 scores but has more than made up for it. Pretty good game for our guys all the way around. Nice response to the last 2 weeks and it's great to be back home!

Re: UCF game threadGreat 2nd quarter and finish to that 1st half. Would appear to be a good time to let Preston open the 2nd half to see whether he can protect or even increase the lead. UCF gets the ball to start so probably depends on whether they are able to score on their 1st possession
Re: UCF game thread
And UCF offense looks anemic. Good combination
Re: UCF game threadDon't know whether anyone heard the ESPN announcers comments about talking to Sonny re: TCU rumors. He reportedly told them he & SMU were very close to working something out and that he hated the way the media ran with these things but understands that's just the way things are.
Take that however you want, but to me it says that Sonny wants his SMU program to compete on a Big XII level, regardless of what conference we are in and wants assurances he will have money for staff, facilities and recruiting (NIL & BOLD?) I'm more optimistic after hearing those comments
