My guess is that it is part of TCU's "commitment" to him...to pay whatever it takes to bring both guys and to pull as many recruits as he wants from our class

Nope.
Don't know about Leavitt, but I think Coach Samples will be headed to a bank somewhere, but not one in D/FW. Sadly.

Semples will be getting calls from UT, TCU, Baylor, A&M, Houston, TT, OU and maybe more like LSU with some $$$$ offers. Heck they have P5 money to spend.

If samples leaves, talk about a credibility gap he will have if he is any place else and going back to all the schools where he told them how great it is to stay home(Dallas).
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

We should fire Hart but would probably want to hire a new AD and let them have input on the new coach. That would totally screw us for signing day and get us late to the party with new coach hiring.
