IRVING, Texas (Nov. 23, 2021) – SMU and The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today that they will jointly honor 2020 College Football Hall of Fame electee Eric Dickerson with an NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute, presented by Fidelity Investments. The Salute will take place this Saturday, Nov. 27, during the Mustangs' home football game against Tulsa. Coverage of the game will start at 3 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

I think because we are at home and we play, weird, much better at home and regardless of Benedict Dykes, the team will want to send their seniors off right so I'm thinking 42-34 SMU

Eric Dickerson and his family will be here, would be embarrassing, for Sonny Swoon to lose 3 of 4 to Tulsa. Ironically, this is when the November collapse started. At a 2-9 Tulsa team with SMU needing a win for bowl eligibility......failed.

I think we win this one if our talent plays to their potential. Whatever the future holds, the players need to prove themselves if they stay, want to enter the transfer portal, or go pro. I think that Bentley, Calcaterra and Roberson have big days. I'm going out on a limb and saying Ponies 41 Tulsa 38.

A massacre by Tulsa would be a perfect book end to what will be known as The Dykes Reign of Infamy - a crushing, humiliating defeat coming in; a crushing, humiliating defeat going out with plenty of embarrassment and futility sandwiched in between. He aspired to mediocrity but never came close to achieving it.

I worry if there are some players who Sonny has convinced to transfer to TCU they might try to throw the game to make SMU look worse and keep Lashlee from being able to salvage a decent recruiting class.
