Hasn’t Joyner been a position coach for 4 years? I like Joyner, but let’s see who he brings in. I’m hearing some names with a lot more experience.

Fill that staff with as many Mustangs as you can and let's have some continuity for once!

Can you imagine a Lashlee staff with Joyner, Bell & Ramon? Why not throw in Peveto as well...he appears to be doing a good job at UTEP

How about Jeremy's dad, Jerry? He has been a very successful defensive coach in the NFL and currently with the Packers. Previous experiene @ SMU which was his first coaching job under Rossley.

If Kaz is gone, this should be a no-brainer

"Vic Viloria serves as Baylor Football's Director of Athletics Performance. He joined the Baylor Family in January 2021. A two-time National Champion and 17-year coaching veteran, Viloria comes to Waco following two seasons as Senior Associate Strength and Conditioning Coach at LSU, including helping the Tigers to a perfect 15-0 record and National Championship in 2019.
It was his second term at LSU, after working under Tom Moffit as an assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2002-04, which included time with the Tigers' nationally-ranked football and baseball programs as well as the swimming and golf teams.
Prior to his most recent stint at LSU, Viloria served as the head strength and conditioning coach at Florida State from 2010-17. During that time, the Seminoles posted a record of 85-20 with six bowl wins including four consecutive New Year's Six Bowls, earned three ACC titles and won the 2013 BCS National Championship with a perfect 14-0 record.
Between 2011-20, Florida State had 51 players drafted that trained under Viloria's leadership."

Well, unless Lashlee follows PonyFans, all these great ideas will not get to his eyes. Hope someone with connections point these out to him. Perhaps he has a twitter account. That might be away to give him some ideas. Better be quick.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

It would be great to see Mustangs on the staff, but an SMU degree doesn't automatically make someone the best candidate. Let's fill with the best available coaches, regardless of where they went to school. In some cases, the lists of best coaches and Mustangs who coach will overlap.
