Hart coogΓÇÖd it by missing possibly our last chance to get to a P5 conference. I donΓÇÖt know what else to say. I guess enough said.

Hart must have allies on the Board of Trustees. How else can you explain retaining him after so many blunders and poor decisions? ItΓÇÖs certainly not due to his popularity or leadership with his staff.

I agree that Hart needs to go as we need a more aggressive AD to push us into a P5 conf, but he deserves some credit. He hired Sonny which was a great hire at the time, rumor has it we made a great extension offer to retain SD, and now he hired Lashee who I think will be a great coach; and it was done in the best possible way for team continuity…

That being said, his handling of basketball should probably ban him from future employment in college athletics.

Lil Ricky didn't hire Lashley, our big donors did. They get the credit for the foresight and action. You really should read the pay sites.

This fixation on Hart and his inability to overcome our program challenges, e.g., lack of Dallas alumni attendance and support, inconsistent student attendance, small enrollment, and current conference alignment, feels overstated.

How we were compared to Cincinnati, Houston, UCF is telling. If we stay competitive, win AAC conference championships, and demonstrate we can consistently get 25-30K in Ford, SMU will be a candidate for a P5 Conference. Hart isnΓÇÖt the issue. We need to look in the mirror first.

We shouldnΓÇÖt demand entitlement. Earn it.

BTW, Rhett Lashlee is a solid move and it was quickly done.

$1 beers, $1 dogs, free admission. Then run the score up for entertainment. WeΓÇÖd build a fan base pretty fast!

Don't need free admission but family packages dirt cheap and finding a way to make the Boulevard more inclusive is the path to really becoming Dallas' college team...just like the Cowboys had to beg for fans before they became a playoff caliber team

Hart had nothing to do with Lashlee. Quit defending him. HeΓÇÖs either incompetent or a failure at his job. Probably both.

You must not care about basketball. He trashed our basketball programs by running off our fans from consistently sold out crowds regardless of opponent in men's basketball, by keeping Jankovich despite years of evidence of an inability to finish the season strong or having an NCAA worthy schedule with opportunities to win some meaningful games instead of simply padding his record against the lower third of NCAA teams, and his apathy towards the predator that was previously in charge of the women's program. Our olympic sports have not been as bad as they are in a very long time. He hasn't done anything to increase donations or boost attendance in any sport. He is below average in pretty much every aspect of his job. Also, he is paid to organize the charge so sorry but he is the first one that needs to look in the mirror.

Yeah, right, we need the Boulevard to include 5% Asians, 12% African Americans, 17% Hispanic, about 53% "whites", and maybe 1% Indian (Native Americans, Indigenous, etc). Then our football program will find life again. Is this somewhere near that word "woke" that I keep hearing?

Nice overreaction while showing your true colors. I'm talking about the average Joe Dallas area college football fan who might be tempted to bring his family to SMU for a game and it would be nice if there was something for someone NOT associated with SMU to enjoy while exploring the Boulevard pre-game. Keep on hating though. It's become fashionable for some
