I thought I saw Mordecai walking to breakfast this morning dressed as Paul Revere.

Finished the season with four straight losses. Duke and GT were horrible, so destroying them doesn't prove anything. Back-to-back road wins at Miami and Louisville were probably their best performances.

Miami is the only FBS team they beat that has a winning record (and that is only 7-5). Sure UVa is obviously bowl-eligible, but they’re really just not that good.

SMU beat a bunch of teams with losing records, with one decent win against a barely over .500 team, and lost four of the last five. Am I wrong or does UVA sound a lot like SMU, only we are in the AAC and not the ACC.

All true. I just said UVA had underperformed all season, not that SMU hasn’t finished badly too. My only quibble with your note is that the ACC was terrible this year, and particularly UVA’s division (the Coastal).
