Any news on Lashlee's assistants yet?

Always a concern when you lose a coach. Luckily, our leadership had Lashlee lined up as early as is humanly possible, hiring him the moment Dykes officially gave notice. No need for a national search that could take weeks, if not months. The new HC, the three assistants he’s already hired, and whatever staff was left have been hitting the trail hard. And, as mrydel pointed out in a separate thread, Lashlee couldn’t hire additional new staff until the season was officially over, three days ago. A lot probably depends on what the new Miami HC does in terms of retaining any of Diaz’s staff.

He’s very well known in Alabama as a great recruiter and a smart coach. This is a good hire!

One of the players Woods coached at UAB told me that as a coach he was ΓÇ£toughΓÇ¥ and as a person, ΓÇ£awesome.ΓÇ¥ Sounds like a great combo to me !

The Twitterverse says SMU has hired former USC safeties coach Craig Naivar to coach safeties and special teams. Previously coached at Texas, Houston, Rice, SHSU and Texas State and regarded as a strong recruiter.
