Was just about to post the ESPN version of the story.
Mark Smith is a great guy who worked under Chad Morris at SMU as a defensive analyst and recruiting director. He was unfailingly generous with me whenever we spoke, and his enthusiasm and positivity around the players was unending. Hoping he and his family can recover and regroup soon — this is incredibly scary and heartbreaking.
