Don't look now, but A$M now has signed and/or has commitments from more 5 star recruits than any other program in the country. I recall Ron Meyer's response when asked if SMU was the highest paying team back during the Pony Express years...something along the lines of "no way; not even close" and then mentioning the Aggie$. Back in the day, I heard some great stories from the father of one of A$M's "yell leaders" about how they were paying players "under the table".

After being the only team to beat Alabama so far this year and with the new NIL rules, watch out for the Aggie$. Have to wonder what their payroll is going to look like!
