Yes, yes I will.

The revelations had better come in the same breath as the announcement about the NCAA sanctions. There's a definite day and time that will happen. If nothing more is revealed than has been revealed, then and only then should we pitch a fit and march on Dallas Hall with flaming pitchforks.

And all you so-called 'fans' that keep putting us down and laughing about how sorry things are, are only hurting our school.

There is some strange stuff put on this board that I just don't understand.
And I've been a fan since the early sixties.

Sure, it's a weird situation with the DP forever tatooed on our a**. Everybody is tired of losing - we've been embarrassed and humiliated too many times to mention.

But, by God, our players are ready to win. They are busting their a**es and we need to stop putting SMU down!!!!!!! I've had it!!@!!!!

GO SMU!!!!!!!! - KICK SOME A** - BRING BEVO IN HERE - BRING ON ANYBODY!! YOU'RE D*MN STRAIGHT - STALLION!!! I'M 'RAH-RAH-RAH' FROM HERE ON OUT. get me a stretcher.........

Ahh, sunshiners. Bless 'em.

One question, though: Haven't our players been "ready to win" and "busting their a**ses" for the last 17 years? If not, why did we recruit them? If so, what makes this crop any more likely to show progress?

Looking back over some old Dave Campbell's the other day...2 years ago..5...7 years back..10, etc., etc...."we are ready to win".."this bunch is hungry".."never seen a spirit and a fire like this".."now's the time"...and on and on, or should I say, and 3-9, 1-10, and 2-9.....long live Red McClain.

um...let's see here....if we have 12,000 fans now....divide by 16, carry the two....multiply by zero......ah yes....we will be able to get to zero fans.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Update: It's down to 26. :(

Does the list include Rodeo?

BTW I thought he was back on the board, but I haven't seen any posts from him about the firing?

Ponyboy, Stallion has ASSURED us that SMU will not have any sanctions. I am breathlessly holding my breath. Nuff said!

We haven't had this depth of talent in the last 17 years.

Yeah, those players off the 0-12 team are senior leaders now. You haven't been this full of it in 17 years.

You're a real piece of work, lucky.

UT could use a "fan" or two like you.

Awesome. Another "I'm a better fan than you" argument.

Yeah, go ahead and keep your head buried in the sand for another 17 years. That really makes you a better fan than me. You refuse to acknowledge the problems at SMU which is the first step to fixing them. You are as much a friend to SMU as Max Williams.

Cheering for your team isn't refusing to acknowlege problems. I really think you are confused on this issue.

We need BOTH cheerleaders (otherwise known as fans) and those who demand change. They're not mutually exclusive. Keep up your good criticism, but for heaven's sake stop attacking fans.
