As much as Sonny claimed to have loved being at SMU, we now know that wasn't really true but Lashlee certainly has become engaged quickly. Wishing him success and hopefully longevity at SMU.

That jumped out at me, too. It's normal for a leaving coach to take assistants with him, but I didn't realize he gutted the support staff like he did. I hope we beat the crap out of tcu.

not in defense of SD but I have to wonder what happened that made him so antagonistic toward SMU. He really didn't seem like that type of individual.
Our history wiith JJ was not good, then the chadster bolted and left us in the lurch for a bowl game and then SD. IMO SD showed more hatred toward us than either of the other two and you have to question the reasons.
Really just curious.

I got the sense it was mostly about conference affiliation, since the money turned out to be only slightly more than SMU offered. If say the story is more about his character (or lack thereof) than anything.

I'm no longer curious. I don't care about him anymore. I'm all in with the new staff.
