I missed the first matchup but loved the post-game presser from Penny.

What's the cliff notes scouting report on Memphis? How's everbody's confidence level going into this one?

Memphis plays relentless defense, is supremely athletic, but usually doesn't have much of a plan on offense. That said, they are peaking and I wouldn't be surprised if they win in a 20 point blowout. However, we really need this win after losing to Temple so I will remain hopeful given that we play much better at home where we remain undefeated this season.

Announcer in game last night said Memphis having DeAndre Williams is the difference between having a morgue like atmosphere in practice to a mosh pit atmosphere. I suppose he’s pretty good.

Will fans like seeing Larry Brown? I know I will.

As usual, SMU is going to have to rain threes in Moody to have any chance of winning this game. This time we are facing the Memphis team that came into this season with the # 1 ranked recruiting class and was expected to compete with Houston for the AAC title

With SMU and Houston each beating Houston it is starting to look like this very well could be a two-bid league which just makes Sunday even bigger.
