Eff TCU and the [deleted] Dixon. BTW, SMU leads the series all-time vs our hated rival, 106-87. Keep running from your daddy, Dixon.

SMU should play regional teams like UTA, UNT and TCU every year.
TCU is paying Dixon a lot of money for not making the tournament.

Baylor won the national championship last year and is currently ranked #10. They’re 157 games over .500 since Scott Drew took over the program 18 years ago. And they’ve made it to the Sweet 16 five times in the last eleven seasons and the Elite Eight three times. Doesn’t sound like the second worst team ever to me.

Really wish we had TCU and UNT on the schedule this year. It would have helped a lot.
And TCU is about to enter into a brutal stretch that should knock them into the NIT. Unless they pull the upset over KU or Tech, I don't see it happening for them...
TCU's next 5 games: @#20 Texas #9 Tech #5 Kansas @ #5 Kansas @ West Virginia

TCU likely to finish ugly with that schedule. Geezer will have to hope SMU finishes poorly as well. Can't for the life of me understand why Dixon doen't want to play SMU in the non-conference. Geezer figures that would be an easy W. I do agree that SMU, TCU & UNT should be playing every year and why not add UTA to that equation rather than playing those Louisiana Southland schools?

The Frogs lost to the Horns tonight. Let the late season fade begin.

Good practice for their fans to see what it will be like in football.

Does 2-2 in the next four and a conference tournament win get them in?

Probably, given that most of those games will be against NCAA tournament teams.

Yes - because of their conference. But they will go 1-3 and will only hit 20 wins if they win their first NIT game.
