Zhuric Phelps
Injury looked bad — in person and, apparently, on TV — but head coach Tim Jankovich said after the game that he was relieved to learn that Phelps's injury apparently was NOT to his knee. Jankovich said he is under the impression that Phelps, who was on the floor on crutches after the game, sustained an injury to his quad muscle. Jankovich sounded hopeful that Phelps might be able to return.

Re: Zhuric Phelps
Encouraging, in that a quad injury doesn’t tend to be career limiting or chronic like knees can be.
Meanwhile, some quad injuries can take a fair amount of time to heal. So here’s hoping Zuric can come back soon, so he does not miss the post season, for his own enjoyment and experience, and because we need him.
