Sam Khan, who covers college football and recruiting for The Athletic, posted something Sunday about the former Longhorns headed to SMU, mentioning Kelvontay Dixon, David Abiara and Chris Adimora.

Someone reminded him about Joshua Moore, to which Khan responded:

He committed to SMU back in January but I’ve been told by folks there that it’s unlikely he’ll be on the roster in the fall.

Take it for what it's worth. Khan is pretty well-connected, so maybe there's something there. I hadn't seen it reported elsewhere.

Dixon is included in the rankings that have us at # 13. Texas has moved up to # 8 and TCU to # 9. Some of our guys were downgraded as they went from H.S. to the transfer portal. We'll see if they play with a chip on their shoulders after being disrespected or whether they just haven't developed at this level.

By my count we have 11 scholarship WRs now on the roster. Not sure how many Lashlee wanst but there's a lot of talent for our QBs to target. Hopefully some of these guys end up on NFL rosters and we can continue referring to SMU as WRU.

Also taking into account the "bump" in ratings players get after committing to a P5 program and the drop when going to a G5.

For example, Alan Ali is now rated just as highly as Camar Wheaton... :lol:
