But it was close until it got out of hand...to end the 1st half as I recall when our QB threw a pick 6
Exactly. It got out of hand on the Pick Hicks at the end of the first half.

Didn't Maryland lose a bunch of players to the portal this year?

Anyone have the skinny yet on purchasing tickets for the away game at Maryland for seats in the SMU visitor section?

I called the SMU ticket office and they set me up quickly.

I sure hope they do. It's a Big Ten road game (tho not a "classic" one to a discussion earlier) and SMU needs to show up in every way possible. And actually, College Park is still somehow a pretty cool little college town even though it's been engulfed by DC.

That’s good to know. I may have to get up to the game then.

Maryland in ACC days also had a very cool tradition of welcoming the visiting team by having their band play the visitors’ fight song prior to kickoff. It always took a minute to recognize because they didn’t know it well. And I’ve bet they quit, rather than learn “Hail to the Victors” and “On, Wisconsin.” But if they still do it, it would be cool. (No idea if they’d play Peruna or PBC—Duke also has two songs and they always played the lesser known one.)

I have been to a bunch of games at Maryland. Great campus, great place to watch a game. Great fans, unless you're a Duke basketball fan, which case ... buckle up.
