None of my UMD football comments apply to UMD MBB. It’s a lot like Duke, UK, KU, IU—basketball and football are different worlds.Vitale wrote:I have been to a bunch of games at Maryland. Great campus, great place to watch a game.
Great fans, unless you're a Duke basketball fan, which case ... buckle up.

Re: Maryland Game
We secured our Maryland tickets yesterday...had SO much fun in Cincy last year that we decided to travel to an interesting away game every year. Hopefully, we will perform better in College Park V Cincy. #BeatTheTerps

I don't think we can play worse than we did against Cinci. Not having the coaching situation and senior night will help us out a lot.GHammond wrote:We secured our Maryland tickets yesterday...had SO much fun in Cincy last year that we decided to travel to an interesting away game every year. Went out like he came in.
Re: Maryland Game
Yeah that Cinci loss was an absolute [deleted] kicking. Completely over matchedΓǪ.and to think we had beaten them 4 years earlier so you can’t say it was a better historical program problem.
Fickel and staff just kicked [deleted] and did a great job developing their program in the shadow of OSU, ND, Michigan…..meanwhile back at the ranch we can do didly in the shadow of OU, UT and A&M.

This could end up being a significant game.
- On the road
- Second-best conference in the country
- Name quarterback, even if he's only the second-best passer in his family
Beating Maryland could be more important than we realized when the schedule was announced.

Re: Maryland Game
Does anyone know if there is an alumni dinner prior to the game?
Re: Maryland Game
Yes. You can find it on Mustang Club website.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Maryland Game
This is a double trap game. For us Frogs the following week. For the Terps, the Wolverines at the Big House. Both teams need to be ready.

Let's hope that maybe the terps are looking ahead to their game at the 'big house'.
