Re: Paul LayneAs mentioned prior, Paul is the best SMU fan but an even greater human. It sounds like has has a LONG road of recovery and isn't yet out of the woods. Keep those prayers and best vibes coming.
Re: Paul LayneSurgery was a success but he's got MRSA in his lungs. So, keep praying for him.

Re: Paul LayneDear Paul.
With the Rothwell girls on your side you could not have a stronger team to pray for your recovery. God... Yahweh, Abba, Allah ... we ask you to heal this good man. We ask with the name of Jesus the Christ. Peace Mustang Militia: Fight the good fight"
Re: Paul LaynePlease continue to pray 8/14
Journal Entry by Kellie Johnson — a minute ago Paul needs continued prayers that his lungs and O2 levels improve, his gut is free of infection, and he improves enough to be extubated soon. Please pray for Paul, his family, and his medical team.
Re: Paul LaynePlease continue to lift Paul up in prayer. Is white cell count is elevated to 31, 8 is normal. Please pray the Drs determine the source of the infection and are able to stop it with the right antibiotics. Paul also has fluid in his lungs and they are giving him Lasix to reduce the fluids. If they can’t they will have to insert chest tubes. The amount of support we are getting is so amazing and we ask all of Paul’s prayer warriors to keep lifting him up! We believe in miracles and the power of prayer.
Help
Re: Paul LayneLast night had some ups and downs but this morning Paul’s stats are looking better and more importantly his mood seems better too. He is still on a Ventilator & cannot speak but he seems more relaxed and can nod yes or no when he is awake. He was able to wiggle his fingers and toes today and his lungs have cleared slightly. He still has elevated white cell count so please pray that God will take away all infection from his body! We also ask the a Lord to continue to heal his reattached intestine, with no more loss of tissue and no leaks! He is running a temp but it is down to 99.9, his BP is a little high but they said it’s in acceptable range. Please pray that this kind & caring man receives complete healing from Jesus Christ. I want to thank all of Paul’s prayer warriors!
Re: Paul LayneDana my sister stayed with Paul last night and he only woke up two times during the night due to coughing. His stats were good. Today they decided to keep him on the ventilator as he continues to fight the pneumonia in his lungs, in order to give him more time to rest and let the antibiotics to do their job. His temperature has spiked to 102 which is scary for us. They are trying to get his temp to come down. Please pray for him asking that his temp goes down and he is able to conquer the pneumonia. We all appreciate your continued prayers and your support,it has been overwhelming and we are al so grateful!
