A little unusual given Kansas is the home team but TCU wins a big one and keeps rolling

Maybe I did not see it right, but it seemed very clear that Houston had 3 player way offside when they recovered the onside kick. It was on the side the kick went to and among that group was the one that recovered it. If anyone sees a replay please post what you see. It was not close, clearly offside.

One UH player MAY have been offside, but it was close. The fault lies with Memphis players who fell back and didn't attack the ball. The UH players went after it while Memphis players watched.

Their receiver is blocking the defender into the end zone, while the other receiver cuts outside underneath that. They were at the 2 yard line, the receiver caught the ball at the goal line so the pass was not close to being behind the line of scrimmage. Crazy play - we used to run that type of play and probably need to start running it again.

To me, that was the bigger miss. It clearly is a pick play yet wasn't called. Not sure how refs are instructed to decide what's legal and what's not on that type of play.

I had gone back and looked again and it was the second player from the outside, and I agree it was very close. Closer than I had thought originally. I agree that Memphis did a poor job on their end.
