Aye...right there with you.

Navy sells out to stop the run. You have to beat them through the air. They have a very good run defense.

Were any second teamers getting reps on defense?

The Navy QB was a pretty bad passer. One easy drop but Tanner had a couple dropped as well. Navy QB obviously manages the game well.

Good Navy fan support and good crowd overall. Beautiful night.

Refs didn’t want Peruna running again after his accident.

A TON of players played in this game. We were limited in just how deep we could go because many backup athletes were on the scout team all week, and thus aren't ready to play in the actual game.

At the end of the game, we played our base defense - 4-2-5 - and forced Navy to eat clock. It makes sense with our secondary losing coverage twice and giving up passing touchdowns. We didn't want to give up quick touchdowns. For the most part on the last two drives, we were playing 98 and 91 as the two DTs with backups at DE. I wish we had closed the game out strong, but I think the coaches were more interested in keeping players healthy for the Cincy game. 100 plays against an option team is.... a lot.

These last 6 games, will any team be favored by more than a TD???….that means close games in the 4th…hope we are up to the task

I qualified the statement above because I thought Cincy would be favored by 6.

To my surprise, I’ve seen them favored by only 3 or 4 points, which I feel is low.

Should be a crazy end to the season. After next week, every line should be a FG or less.

Tells me a few things, one being barring injury, Preston Stone will likely not see much action.

The other is i really want to see Rhett Lashlee coaching in a Bowl game, he needs the experience.
